- Description:
- Postcard (color, white border, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled: A Peach among the Peaches. featuring a woman standing in peach tree limbs. Peaches are a fuzzy fruit native to northwest China. They are a member of the stone fruit family, which means that their flesh surrounds one large middle seed. They are grown throughout the warmer temperate regions of both the Northern and Southern hemispheres. It should be noted that sometimes when a girl is looking pretty and sweet you want to be able to give her a nice compliment. In the south you would tell her that she looks “pretty as a peach.” This may describe the title of the picture. No descriptive text on reverse. Card number 8C-K3232.
