- Description:
- Postcard (color, linen texture, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled The Flame Vine and Bougainvillea, Miami, Florida 344. - Text on reverse: Perhaps Florida’s most unusual charm is in the beauty and great variety of its flowering trees, shrubs and vines. One of the rarest is the brilliant Bignonia Venusta, or Flame Vine of Florida. Its riotous blooms make bright patches of color on buildings, hedge and tree. The Bougainvillea Vine, native of the state, makes brilliant purple and red splashes of bright color against the distinctive Florida architecture. Postage required 1 cent. Card number 69522.
