- Postcard (color, linen texture, divided back, 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches) titled Hialeah Park Race Track, Miami. Florida 88. featuring horses entering a racetrack. In 1920, Missouri cattleman James Bright and aviation pioneer donated land for the community to use while helping to acquire funds to construct public buildings, facilities and a horse racetrack. The track opened for thoroughbred racing on Jan. 15, 1925. Text on reverse: Hialeah Race Track, The Track is one of the most famous in the country and certainly in the ranks with the best in excellence of equipment and beauty of setting. Its racing meets are attended by thousands of fans from all over the country. Postage required 1 cent stamp. Card number 62338.
