- Georgia Architectural and Historic Properties Survey of 418 West St., Valdosta, Ga., December 1980. Double pen house of rectangular plan with tin gabled roof. Shed porch with turned spindle posts. Shiplap siding. Two interior chimneys. Double hung sash windows with 2/2 lights. Transom and stained glass in door. Set on brick piers. Good condition. Date of Construction: App. 1900-1910. Typical early 1900's vernacular city house, located within a district of many other similar houses. Significant as part of a potential N.R. district.
