Moral Discipline and Culture of the Negros -- The Baptists -- The Methodists -- The Episcopalians. I suspect that Charles C. Jones (father of the more well-known historian of the same name) was responsible for this report. The elder Jones wrote several essays on the education of slaves and this pamphlet has his name as the Missionary for the Liberty County Association. These Reports were issued annually by Liberty County and original issues are quite scarce. WorldCat lists only 40 of all the pamphlets issued and many of them are microfilm or microfiche.
