- Description:
- This church was built in 1893 as an Episcopal sanctuary at the corner of West Avenue and White Street. In 1953, the building was sold to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, which gave the building to the University of West Georgia in 1964. The structure was moved to campus and dedicated as the Kennedy Chapel in memory of President Kennedy, with Robert Kennedy in attendance.
