- Flanagan wins State Bar of Georgia Law School Excellence in Access to Justice Award Monday, August 21, 2017 Congratulations to Meghan Flanagan (J.D.'17) for her receipt of the 2017 State Bar of Georgia Law School Excellence in Access to Justice Award. This honor recognizes her commitment to, and support for, the delivery of pro bono civil legal services to the poor and underserved communities in Georgia. The award committee specifically noted her commitment to the Court Appointed Special Advocates program and her efforts to recruit and train additional volunteers. The award will be officially presented in October. Of special note, the law school's Working in the Public Interest Conference received the 2016 Law School Excellence in Access to Justice Award.
