- Carruthers Ferrero receives fellowship from the Georgia Latino Law Foundation Wednesday, April 11, 2018 Congratulations to first-year student Maria Mercedes Carruthers Ferrero for receiving a Georgia Latino Law Foundation Fellowship. This program partners Latino law students with summer internship opportunities to gain substantive legal experience under the supervision and mentorship of legal professionals. Notably, Carruthers Ferrero is the School of Law's first Georgia Latino Law Fellow.
