- Beck, Lanier, Weeks assume associate deanships Thursday, August 2, 2018 The School of Law is pleased to share that three of our professors have assumed associate deanships. Randy Beck (http://www.law.uga.edu/profile/randy-beck), the holder of the Marshall Chair of Constitutional Law, has been named the associate dean for academic affairs. Eleanor Crosby Lanier (http://www.law.uga.edu/profile/eleanor-crosby-lanier), the director of the law school’s Mediation Clinic, will serve as the associate dean for clinical programs and experiential learning, and Hosch Professor Elizabeth Weeks (http://www.law.uga.edu/profile/elizabeth-weeks) is the school’s new associate dean for faculty development. Dean Peter B. “Bo” Rutledge views these positions as excellent professional development posts for faculty seeking higher education administration experience.
