Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil: A Re-enactment of the Murder Trial of Jim Williams presented by members of the UGA Law School Mock Trial Program. Commentary during the re-enactment was provided by lead defense attorney Frank W. "Sonny" Seiler (LL.B. '57) and Callaway Professor of Law Ronald L. Carlson, a leading authority on trial practice and evidence. Downloadable materials include sections from Professor Carlson's text Trial Handbook for Georgia Lawyers, Second Edition discussing the legal concepts, use of justifiable force, character of victim, expert witnesses, opinion evidence, and mistrial.
