- Title:
- Hijacked plane leaves wives behind to await husbands' safe return. This seems to be the hijackings of five planes from several countries and carriers on September 6 and September 9, 1970. This became known as the Dawson's Field hijackings. In the first segment, Mrs. Settles comments on speaking with her husband in Cypress. The first part of segment two is an interview with an unidentified African American Army wife with her child. She discusses her own experience during the hijacking and her release and the future for her family once her husband is released. The interview takes place in a hallway, possibly at Atlanta Airport. The second part of segment two includes interviews with Mrs. Settles and an unidentified Indian woman.
