- In this series of WSB newsfilm clips from November 29, 1968, a large crowd of people are attending the lighting of the Rich's Christmas tree in downtown Atlanta. The clip is divided into two segments, part one and b-roll. Part one begins with a shot of the very large crowd in attendance. This is followed by a quick shot of a choir singing in front of a large window inside Rich's. After this is another shot of the crowd, followed by a shot of the tree being lit. The camera then pans down to the choirs signing in the Rich's windows. The final shot is the lit star on top of the tree.
The second segment of the clip is b-roll, during which crowds are seen watching the tree lighting from a parking garage. The camera then pans down to the large crowd. This is followed by clips of a choir singing in front of a large window from inside of Rich's. A conductor can be seen leading the choir. The final clips show a person carrying balloons through the crowd.
