- In this series of WSB-TV newsfilm clips from April 10, 1967, two dogs do a trick, probably in Atlanta, Georgia.
The first clip shows an unidentified white woman holding a dog. An unidentified white man who touches the dog and an unidentified white male reporter stand on either side of her.
In the next clip, a close-up of the dog is seen.
The next clips show the woman and man talking to the reporter. The woman's audio begins mid-sentence. She says: "--good bit of shampoo." She is probably talking about removing green dye from the dog's fur.
The reporter asks the woman, "What did you think when you first saw the green?"
The woman answers, "Well, I thought he had been a Easter dog for some child."
The man says, "If you want me to show you why [it's] so important--will you let [him] down please?" Holding the dog, he begins to call a dog named Nerone and speaks to Nerone, who is probably a German shepherd, in Italian. Nerone wears a coat or harness. The smaller dog, with encouragement from the man, jumps onto Nerone's back. The man seems to address the smaller dog as Poupette, but it is unclear whether this is the dog's name or a term of endearment.
In the next clip, Nerone walks around with the smaller dog on his back.
