- In this series of WSB newsfilm clips from 1963, law enforcement officials are burning marijuana plants. The clip is divided into two segments, part one and b-roll. Part one begins with a closeup of a man smoking and blowing smoke into the camera. This transitions to a barrel of burning marijuana plants. Next is another shot of the man smoking, followed by shots of the burning plants. The smoke from the fire is being sucked up a chimney. This is followed by a shot of a man shoveling the plants in the burning barrel. Following this is a shot of some men bringing in more packages of marijuana to burn. One of the men dumps marijuana into the barrel. This is followed by a shot of a group of men standing around, watching the other men burn the marijuana. Several packages of marijuana are also seen, waiting to be burned. The final shot shows the barrel burning again.
The second segment of the clip is b-roll, during which a group of men are standing around as a another man dumps more marijuana into a box. One of the men then begins to throw some of the marijuana into the fire.
