- In this series of WSB newsfilm clips from October 12, 1961, a ceremony is being held at Stone Mountain Park. The clips begin with a crowd sitting outdoors, watching a man speak at a podium. This is followed by a shot of a group of people standing on top of the mountain. After this, a woman hammers in a ceremonial railroad spike into a railroad. Following this is more shots of the man speaking at the podium, including audience reactions. More shots of the railroad are next, including a small train depot and two men on a handcar. Men are then seen talking and shaking hands. The remaining shots show a building and more of the railroad spike ceremony.
