- In this series of WSB newsfilm clips from March, 1978, Don McClellan is reporting on the shooting of Larry Flynt and his lawyer Gene Reeves Jr. in Lawrenceville, Georgia. McClellan returns to the street where Flynt and Reeves were walking. There are multiple takes of McClellan walking down the street and talking about how Flynt and Reeves were walking down the same street when they were shot.
McClellan next reports from the building where the shooter, Joseph Paul Franklin, was located when he shot Flynt and Reeves. McClellan then walks where Flynt and Reeves were when they were shot and describes how McClellan was shot first and ran to take cover behind a car. Flynt was shot next and immediately dropped to the sidewalk.
McClellan then describes how Joseph Paul Franklin left the house and either got into an escape car or ran away down an alley.
