He is asked about his opinion of the American League addition of the designated pinch hitter. Feller responds that he was a good bunter, then goes on to say that he thinks it is a gimmick, but that it will provide interest to the game. He would rather see inter-league games played. When asked about new pitcher, Feller mentions Nolan Ryan and David Clyde. The sound ends and the clips show parts of the National League Old-Timers versus American Leagues Old-Timers baseball game at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium, June 30, 1973.The last clip is of Sandra Haynie talking about the Lady Tara Open. She congratulates Laura Baugh on her outstanding play.
