- In this series of WSB-TV newsfilm clips from January 30, 1978 of the fire at the Loew's Grand Theater in Atlanta, there are shots of the fire department and other emergency personnel working to extinguish the fire. There are several clips of people watching from the streets and nearby businesses. The fire also spread to the Continental Insurance building next door. Flames and smoke are seen in both buildings in several of the shots. Several firemen were treated for smoke inhalation, including W.M. Ramey who is shown in one shot receiving oxygen. There were other injuries also that were attended to by emergency personnel. The clips are often hard to see and the sound is not clear.
