- This series of WSB-TV newsfilm clips from August 14, 1979 shows external shots of various Atlanta landmarks, beginning with the Atlanta Civic Center. A view of a nearby construction site is included with the Westin Peachtree Plaza and Hyatt Regency hotels visible in the background. A large, outdoor abstract mural is shown, followed by views of Central City Park (now Woodruff Park) and environs. There are views of two large fountains and another abstract mural in front of an unidentified building. There is a close-up shot of a Peachtree Street NE street sign with a portion of First United Methodist Church in the background. Atlanta Civic Center, Central City Park, and the Fox Theatre. The series ends with long and close shots of the iconic Fox Theatre sign.
