- In this series of WSB-TV newsfilm clips, unidentified persons who are probably members of the National Congress of Parents and Teachers and National Congress of Colored Parents and Teachers, which later merged to form the PTA, take part in a demonstration and march to the Russell Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C. (No date).
In the first clips, a crowd of unidentified persons, probably members of the two organizations, watch an unidentified white male speaking in front of an unidentified building, probably in Washington, D.C. An unidentified white woman stands at his side. In the audience, two unidentified white women hold a banner which reads in part, "We are citizens not subjects!"
The next clip shows unidentified persons, probably members of the organizations, marching in Washington, D.C. A sign indicates that they are crossing Constitution Avenue. The next clip shows among the marchers an unidentified white man and woman, dressed in what appear to be Revolutionary War soldiers' uniforms. The unidentified white woman who stood beside the speaker earlier marches near them. The next clip shows the marchers approaching the United States Capitol building. The next clip shows a close-up of the high-heeled shoes of two unidentified female marchers. The next clip shows the marchers passing the United States Capitol.
The next clip shows the marchers crossing the street towards the Russell Senate Office Building. The next clip shows more marchers crossing the street. The next clip shows marchers climbing stairs to enter the Russell Senate Office Building. The next clip shows an unidentified white male security guard standing in front of a door bearing the number 445A.
The next clip shows the marchers standing in a hallway, probably at the Russell Senate Office Building; they appear to be waiting for entrance to a room or other area of the building.
