- In this series of WSB-TV newsfilm clips from November 8, 1957, President Dwight D. Eisenhower speaks about humankind seeking the good from atomic energy while avoiding the bad. Eisenhower is first shown boarding a Marine helicopter, and the helicopter flies past the Washington Monument. Eisenhower then speaks about his wish that the curse of atomic explosions would pass from human knowledge and only the good benefits of atomic energy remain.
