- In this series of WSB newsfilm clips from September 20, 1974, pornographer Mike Thevis is discussing purchasing the Fox Theater in Atlanta, Georgia. The clip is divided into two segments, part one and b-roll. Part one begins with Mr. Thevis elaborating on his offer to purchase the Fox Theater for the city of Atlanta. He indicates that the purchase is not for him, but for the people of Atlanta. He also acknowledges that it is unlikely to happen since the sellers probably do not want to do business with Mike Thevis.
The second segment of the clip is b-roll, during which reporter Jim Hickey is reporting from Mike Thevis' mansion. He indicates that Mr. Thevis wants to donate the mansion to the city of Atlanta, but with the stipulation that it not be resold. Mr. Thevis wants the mansion to be used as a children's home. Footage of the grounds of the mansion and the exterior of the mansion itself are shown.
