Segment one: Ceremony, 0:00. A group of people stand in a circle around a spot in the ground. They are holding their hats instead of wearing them and they have pamphlets. There are some shovels stuck in the ground. All of the people have their heads bowed. Two women hold shovels and pose in front of a group of men. There is a block of wood stuck in the ground at their feet. A man starts the shovels for them as they begin digging a hole. They trade the shovels off to people after them. Each pair poses with their shovels. The hole is getting larger and deeper. Even the children there join in the digging. The women are wearing heels and sometimes have trouble starting the shovel in the ground. They chat in groups and walk away from the site where they dug the hole. Black slug. - Local Identifier:
