Advertisement: "Funding for the preservation of this film has been provided by Kilpatrick Stockton, LLP, Atlanta, Georgia as part of the University of Georgia Libraries Adopt-A-Reel Moving Image Preservation Program." Black slug. Segment one: Family, 0:25. A hand is petting a small dog, possibly a schnauzer, who is standing on a short wall. A bald older man and his wife pose for the camera. They look at each other and smile, then talk to the camera. They pose with a young woman with short hair. Two small children sit on a step together and smile at the camera. They are each holding a large ball. The girl stands up and pats the boy on the head. In the yard, the little girl throws her ball and they play with their parents. A young woman wearing a cloche hat poses for the camera. Segment two: University of Georgia School of Law, 1:22. A large building has two old cars in front of it. There are large trees in the yard. The front porch has four columns, and there is a tower on the top. The backside of the building shows that it is three stories tall. There is an engraving: "IVSTITIA." A man in a suit stands next a woman on the steps as another man joins them. The men take their hats off. All three pose for the camera. The tower of the building is shown. A concrete portion of the building with a book molded in it is two stories above the front door. One of the men and the woman lean on the columns. The camera shows their faces up close individually. The man makes a funny face at the camera. Another engraving: "HAROLD HIRSCH HALL." Segment three: Dog, 3:05. A dog chews on a newspaper. It occasionally stops and looks up at the camera. It moves the newspaper all over the floor. It looks at the camera and barks. It digs under the cushion of a chair and pulls something out. On top of a shelf or cabinet, there is a white dog trinket. Segment four: Vacation, 4:15. A man in a captain's hat stands in uniform behind a glass window. A mast of a boat is shown. He looks through a pair of binoculars. The land is shown from the water. There are palm trees and white square buildings. On the beach, a man in dress pants and a tie reclines in a chair next to a woman in a bathing suit. The camera follows what looks to be either a submarine or a steam ship through a harbor. Sign: "CLYDE MALLORY." Two sea planes sit on a beach. A large domed building with a boat in front of it in the water is shown. A Spanish style house with many trees around it is shown. A woman sleeps on the boat. A large two story boat is shown near the camera. A bird flies over the water. The two story boat looks to a cruise ship. They ride along in front of it. A small boat speeds through the waves with a single rider. On land, there is a pit full of fifty or more alligators. A man who works there pokes them with a stick. Ostriches run around behind a fence. An African American man, likely the caretaker, gets up close to the ostrich. People lay in the sand at the beach asleep. Other people sit in chairs or lounge in the sand together. There are a lot of umbrellas. Flamingoes drink water from a box outside. The waves are shown, no one is swimming. A couple smiles for the camera from their beach chairs. The camera pans down the beach, then shows a hotel with cabanas for people to sit in on the beach in front of it. The waves are shown again. A group of people sit looking at the camera on the beach in heavy coats, some lined with fur. A child stands near a wall that separates the land from the ocean. People clean off in the water. A lot of people stare at the camera from the land. They climb in trees and sit in the underbrush. A man speaks to someone on the boat. A drawbridge goes down. A bird floats in the water. A boat floats under a bridge. Many boats are out in the water as well. There are many tall buildings along the waterfront. Birds sit on posts in the river. Segment five: Dog training, 11:09. A man trains a dog to walk across a plank on top of two ladders. The dog walks through his legs and jumps through a hoop. He also trains him to do many other tricks and climb a tall wall. The dog is afraid to jump through a ring that is on fire, but finally does. The trainer works with a much smaller dog doing the same tricks, but on a smaller scale. Three women sit on a bench chatting and the dog goes over to them. The man smiles and talks to the camera. A woman poses with the dog and talks to it. The big dog runs in a cage. Black slug.
