Segment one: Track and field, 0:00. Grey screen. Title screen "National Film Preservation Foundation." Black slug. A young man runs across a football field. There are four men standing next to a fence by the by the field. A young man wearing a tank top with the letters "NC" is standing in front of the camera. A young man wearing a tank top with the University of Tennessee logo is walking towards the camera. A track and field throwing event is taking place. This is followed by a track and field jumping event. A young woman sitting on a bench speaks to the camera. Segment two: Blimp, 1:26. A plane is flying in the sky. A blimp is flying in the air. The camera shows the blimp from different angles. On the side of the blimp reads "Good Year." There are people walking in front of a building that says "Airport" on the roof. People get into a blimp. A part of the blimp is shown; it reads "Defender Miami NC-I2A." An airplane flies away. The blimp flies away. There are people on the ground talking. The blimp lands. People get into the blimp, and people get off the blimp. The camera films the ground from the blimp as it leaves the ground. It continues to film the city as it flies over it. The camera films some of the people on the blimp. It continues to film the city from the air. There is a man taking pictures of the blimp. People get off the blimp. The blimp leaves. Segment four: House, 5:44. The camera pans around the site of a classic-styled building. The camera pans around the outside of a large house. An older African American man smoking a pipe is standing outside next to the house and speaks to the camera. The camera continues to pan around the outside of the house. There are people standing around outside the house. A man and a woman stand in a doorway behind a cabinet. There is an older man sitting in a rocking chair gesturing with a newspaper in his hand. Segment five: Mountain, 7:23. From a mountain, the camera pans around and captures all the vegetation and the city around it. There is a man standing next to a tree that has a sign that reads Kentucky. There is a sign in the middle of the woods that reads "Civil War Breast Works." A man and a woman shake hands in front of a tree with a sign that reads "Virginia." The same man and woman are standing in front of another tree that has a sign that reads "Kentucky." On the ground it reads "1863.” There is a sign in the woods that reads "Lincoln Memorial University." The camera continues to pan around and film the vegetation around the mountain.
