A man stands in the middle of the road and waves a green flag, then two soap box derby cars race down the hill. A flag with two hands shaking says "WELCOME TO AUGUSTA." At the top of the hill, soap box derby cars are put on ramps. Boys and men stand around the cars. They have advertisements on them, such as "CORBETT'S SERVICE STATION." The road is lined on both sides by people. The inside of a car is shown. A man in uniform directs traffic, and a car drives behind him. One of the cars on the starting ramp has "AUGUSTA OFFICE SUPPLY" painted on the side. The band from the earlier parade is seated in chairs playing their instruments. Two more derby cars race down the hill. A girl who was riding in the red convertible poses for the camera. Her crown has the year, 1963, on it. Boys get water from a big water sack.
