- The Long Cane Masonic Lodge was erected about 1850 on the stagecoach road between LaGrange and West Point, GA. The second floor was reserved for Lodge meetings while the first floor served as a store and tavern for travelers. Between 1879 and 1905, it housed the Long Cane Post Office. The building was razed in 1969.
