- The Troup County Chapter of the American Red Cross was chartered in 1917. It has grown to serve 21 counties, including Bibb, Butts, Carroll, Coweta, Crawford, Dooly, Haralson, Harris, Heard, Houston, Lamar, Macon, Meriwether, Monroe, Peach, Pike, Spalding, Talbot, Taylor, Troup, and Upson.
