- Private William Mobley, Company F, 21st Georgia Volunteer Infantry Regiment. The regiment was organized in Troup County in July of 1861. It was first engaged at the Battle of Bull Run (Centerville, Fairfax County, VA). He was the son of James Mobley and the ancestor of Thomas Mobley
