- Description:
- The first Harwell Avenue School was built c. 1903, housing grades 1 - 10. In 1915, it became Harwell Avenue Elementary School when the high school was relocated to North Greenwood Street. Following the fire which destroyed LaGrange High School (December 26, 1942), it was used as temporary high school. This building was destroyed by fire in August, 1943
