- The collection consists of genealogy notes written by Theodora Thomas outlining information she learned about Horace King and his descendants. Maps and locations of King family burial plots are included. Photographs of King, his children and family members form an important part of the collection. Family recipes, mostly baked goods but also a recipe for whisky, as well as news clippings and information on White Water Creek and Glass’ covered bridges are included. Eighteen postcards of covered bridges, Fort Valley College, and sites in Ohio and New York are a part of the collection. Also donated were two pieces of Masonic jewelry.
