- The major portion of the collection consists of documents and artifacts relating to Nick Allen’s service in World War II. Incorporated are histories of the U. S. Third Army, the Second Infantry Regiment, military service orders, various military medals, including the Purple Heart, and Lions Club medals. Information on Five Points High School, news articles, a letter home from Europe (1946), and papers relating to Nick Allen’s life are also included.
