- The photographs, processed from 35 mm black and white film, span the period from the 1930s to the 1940s. Hutchinson’s notes about many of his subjects are found on the back of the photographs. Although there are many prints in the collection, there are many more negatives, which have not been printed; however, many of these have been scanned and can be viewed in the Archives photo database. The photograph and negative collection is arranged by subject. An index to the collection begins on page three. The manuscript collection consists of news clippings, admission tickets to LaGrange High School football games and to the City Swimming Pool.
