- The minute book contains a constitution, church decorum, membership list, & minutes. The membership list gives the members name, how they were received into the congregation, and the nature of their dismissal (i.e. death, transfer of letter, expulsion, etc.). The minute book gives insight into the church conferences. The Conferences impose punishment on members for crimes ranging from adultery to dancing. Some reference is made to members leaving the church for military service during the Civil War; however, the minutes rarely mention current events.
