- Description:
- The collection consists of two scrapbooks and one manuscript box of folders that relate to activities of the CVAA from 1963 to 1982. They contain newspaper clippings, promotional material, and correspondence related to CVAA business, local art exhibitions, and the annual Sidewalk Art Show. There are only one or two newspaper articles related to the renovation of the old jail and the opening of the art museum in 1978. There are also photographs in the collection. Most notably, there is a photograph of the first CVAA meeting in March 1963, and numerous photographs of past Sidewalk Art Shows including the very first in August 1963.
