- Description:
- Silent, color moving image footage shot in Thomasville, Georgia, showing the Parade of Roses, where a large crowd of people have gathered. The parade features many floats representing local organizations, marching bands, automobiles with dignitaries. This is followed by footage of the crowning of a pageant queen (possibly the Rose Queen), who then proceeds along the street with her court on a float. Next, people gathered along a walkway surrounding a building at an event (presumably the Rose Show). Women holding bouquets of flowers emerge from the building, cordoned off by a ribbon. They are accompanied by two men. The last shot in this home movie features the pageant queen and her court.
