- Silent, black-and-white moving image footage shot in Thomasville, Georgia that begins with several shots of roses growing along a wire fence, and roses growing in a plot of cultivated land. This is followed by shots of buildings and landmarks around town, including the Bank of Thomas County, and the Thomas County courthouse. There are more shots of roses, and people inspecting roses. This is followed by shots of people riding horseback, people in front of old plantation-style homes including Greenwood Plantation, shots of different gardens, automobiles on the local roads, a child in a toy car, numerous homes, schools, and commercial buildings around Thomasville that include the Scott Hotel, J. C. Penney, "Hill Top," the Thomasville train station, several local movie theaters, the W. J. Powell Co. building, the Sunnyland building, the Watson Scott Company building, and several local factories. These shots are interspersed with scenes of people enjoying themselves outdoors, seated in common areas, dining, attending church and school, playing golf, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and attending baseball games. These scenes are followed by shots of cows in pastures, the produce section of a grocery store, a large garden or farm plot, farmers on a truck transporting baskets, farmers standing inside a building with these baskets, men walking across a field of roses, another shot of a field of roses, a man holding a rose bush, and another shot of a home with a rose garden. Next, a man holds up a copy of the Thomasville Times-Enterprise that reads: "You Are Invited To Rose Show Friday." This is followed by a shot of the WKTG building, and a shot of a radio tower. Next are multiple shots of a parade with assorted floats, marching bands, and cars carrying dignitaries. This is followed by shots of a beauty pageant, and a formal dance. A young woman is crowned "Miss Cairo." A group of people assemble outside of a building, followed by a shot of single roses arranged in vases along a display table. This scene is followed by several closeup shots of roses grown outdoors.
