33 West 67th Street [*13 nov. 1921*] New York, N.Y. Dear Mrs. Beamer Ive got it in my heart tonight to write you abt your little girl. I think you ought to know from my side how she is getting on. + how proud + happy we are in it all. She is very well. + quite fat for her + as dear + sweet as she can be. She is working hard at her three classes + now at the [Ex??s] toe [da?ing] besides french which she is getting on with very well. She is now laying a foundation for her future success. + she herself sees what the [???l?r] of hard quiet work is doing for her. She is making friends among the best class of professionals as well as with influential people not professional. I even [?] [?] earning money now yet she is making strides that will insure her [??t??ing] much higher up in her career than she could possibly do otherwise you may be sure that Mr Keith + I guard her at every point + see that she gets at only the best kind of people. Also, Mrs Beamer I watch that she wears her rubbers when its wet that she gets the right kind of food + plenty of it at the right time + sleep enough she never would never have gotten so used as she was last summer, if I could have had the care of her during the winter before. I believe you will find, if you have the patience to wait for its fulfillment, that the child will make very good + that you will feel well repaid for your wonderful forbearance + self-sacrifice all of you. You cant realize what comfort + warmth your letters to her are. Every day one of you give her proof your love + thought
