- Description:
- Charles Holmes Herty Hall, built in 1938, was named for a chemist. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and received the Ph.D. degree from John Hopkins university in 1890. He pioneered in the development of newsprint from Georgia Pine trees. This building was built for classes in Science and Agriculture. As of 2015, this building now houses classes for Math, Physics, and Calculus.
