- Description:
- A photograph of an unidentified official speaking during the opening of the Little White House as a historic site at the Georgia Warm Springs Foundation, Warm Springs, Meriwether County, Georgia, 1947. Georgia governor Ellis Arnall is seated directly behind the podium, inside of a closed seating area decorated with bunting and posters of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. A banner in front of the speaker's podium indicates that the event was broadcast by Georgia radio station WSB. The Little White House, Franklin Delano Roosevelt's residence in Warm Springs, was built in 1932.
