- A photograph of Franklin Delano Roosevelt seated on the terrace of McCarthy Cottage, the first home that he built in Warm Springs, Meriwether County, Georgia, sometime between 1927 and 1932. McCarthy Cottage burned to the ground in a fire in 2011. The second home Roosevelt built in Warm Springs, the Little White House, remains as a state historic site.
