The patient is wearing hand splints, and his arms are supported by an overhead mobile arm support system. Typing lessons are displayed on a clipboard placed next to the typewriter. Written on the front of the photograph: "TYPING WITH REMOTE CONTROL TYPE-WRITER AND BILATERAL SLINGS AND LAPBOARD FOR SUPPORTING ARMS." There is some writing on the bottom right corner of the photograph that is illegible.
