Along with Clarence Jordan at Koinonia Farm, a racially integrated Christian community and working communal farm in Sumter County, Georgia, the Fullers conceived of the idea for an affordable housing project in 1968. In 1976 the couple founded Habitat for Humanity International, which has built more than 175,000 homes around the world as of 2005. - Metadata URL:
