Zell Miller is officially sworn in as Georgia's eighth Lieutenant Governor as he takes the oath of office from Court of Appeals Judge Charles Pannel on January 14, 1975. They stand by a podium and a microphone. In 1974 Miller was elected lieutenant governor of Georgia, and he served for four consecutive four-year terms. He was elected governor of Georgia in 1990 and reelected in 1994. He also served in the U.S. Senate from 2000 through 2005. - Metadata URL:
