Photograph of the historic T. R. R. Cobb house, built in Athens, Georgia in 1839. This pink-and-white Federal style structure, built in the 1830's, was renovated in 1852 with the addition of two-story octagonal wings on each side of the home. A two-story porch is draped with patriotic decorations. A brick path leads to the entrance.
This structure was moved to Stone Mountain, Georgia in 1985. The house was returned in 2004 to Athens and situated two blocks from its original location. Restored by the Watson-Brown Foundation, the home opened in 2007 as a house museum and conference site. - Metadata URL:
