The technical college is located in Macon, the seat of Bibb County and the retail, medical, financial, educational, and cultural center of middle Georgia. Credited for attracting strategic industries to the area, Central Georgia Tech offers classes in all of its seven service delivery counties: at the main campus in Macon, a satellite campus in Milledgeville (Baldwin County), and five learning centers in Eatonton (Putnam County), Forsyth (Monroe County), Gray (Jones County), Jeffersonville (Twiggs County), and Roberta (Crawford County). Full-time enrollment at the school is among the highest of the state's thirty-four technical colleges. Programs are offered in the categories of business technology, health technology, information technology, public services, technical, and trade and industrial. Central Georgia Tech is a member of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
