- Description:
- Equity cases are suits heard by a judge in which the situation requires that an action be prevented before damage is done. This is accomplished by suing in a court of equity asking the judge to issue an injunction stopping the harmful action.
A typical equity case file might include the complaint; answers; stipulations; depositions; affidavits; transcripts of testimony; exhibits; motions; evidentiary material; orders; decrees; judgments; records related to appeal; correspondence related to the case; and other papers filed in equity proceedings. This series contains the Louisville Slugger Bat trademark case. - Metadata URL:
