- Larry Jens Anderson's work is largely in response to his personal life experiences, addressing themes such as sexual identity, AIDS, death, beauty, and family. This retrospective included approximately 100 drawings, paintings, sculptures, videos, installations, and more since his arrival in Atlanta in 1979. The catalog includes an essay by Philip Auslander, a statement by the artist, as well as numerous images of work from throughout Anderson's career with photography by Michael McKelvey.
