- Affidavit created by George Murray, a hotel owner who was charged with boarding a slave belonging to Caruchan and Mitchell of Savannah, Georgia. Murray explains that a man named Holden told him that the slave in question was a free man a man named Bob, and and asked Murray to board Bob at his hotel. After boarding Bob for three weeks, Murray sought payment, but Bob left with a man named Kimbell, who claimed that Bob owed him money. Joseph Crane signs the affidavit as a witness. 2 images.
