- Photograph of Gainesville Drama Group. Photographed in 1955, the Town Players, a Gainesville drama group, turned over the proceeds from their production in March 1955 for use in the construction of a new Brenau College amphitheater. Julian Bloodworth, Treasurer (third from left) presents the check to J. D. Jewell, Chairman of the Brenau Board of Trustees, and Dr. Josiah Crudup, college President. Town Players representatives are, from left to right, Finley Horney, president, and Carl Tibetts.
